Lost 12 units, but I'm still smiling. Apparently you can attack a Dragon Cave with multiple stacks. Unfortunately, it's like attacking an effing Earth Node which I'd forgotten. Nothing like an earthquake in the first round to damage every unit for 4-8 points. And again in the third round to kill half of my units.

Because I'm an optimist, I'm excited about my lesser upkeep costs.

I feel like an Orc for some reason. We love cannon fodder, though we prefer to use Goblins for said duty.

Yes. Helps that I attacked with 21 shooting or flying units including 3 heroes. The heroes all ended the battle with less than six health apiece. It was tough. Strangle never worked and I wasn't able to get my heroes any of the Dragon kills. Very glad I left my gold medal unicorn (healing) out of the battle as I now need his services very badly for the next 7-8 days in a row.

Nomaden, Tag 30

Bloody hell, my group of 6 led by my hero got attacked by dragon and hatchling at night. Luckily my hero managed to strangle him to death (I imagine him holding the dragon in chokehold:-)). Unfortunately just befor it died, dragon killed my sheriff. Some other group of neutrals tried to take opportunity and ambushed my weakened group right after that but they learnt we are not that weak.
In my turn we then fought hard battle over nature quest only to turn it down right away.

At this point I should have just made a corps of catapults just to burn out tower/city garrisons. They'd be able to zoom around in a tank too - maybe I still should do that.

Forget catapults. We've suicided our leader at one set of walls six times. Casting spells till we die every time. :-)

Unfortunately, though we've killed four of the defenders, there remain 16. Perhaps on Day 76 of our campaign, we will be triumphant.
