Anyone up for additional PBEMs? Including 1v1s?

I'm up for AoW1, 3 or more players, modless and relatively "normal".

And ideally something that actually gets finished. Last 3 games I played never got completed :(

I'm in 10 modded PBEMs right now, so it's no dice for unmodded from me... for AoW1 anyway.

The MPE mod for aow2 is pretty vvanilla except for various subtle mechanics changes To play PBEM you don't technically need the Wrapper.... but you'll want it

Personally I'm only playing PBEMs with the Ziggurat mod i made these days, with people on the discord server

Up for PBEMs, preferably AOW1 but up for one or two more AOW SM

Tempting but I shouldn't. I remember the past fondly but while not taking much time initially, it will later on will take quite a while to finish one turn (also cranks anxiety up to 11). It's immensely rewarding when you win but when you lose it hurts a lot. I mean finishing one game can take a year or two. Too bad there's no spectator mode. Great to see mimo and southern still at it though!

And the small / medium maps aren't too bad time wise. I agree re: Large and X-Large. Also agree re: anxiety, especially when you're getting to the my big stack vs. your big stack coin flipping part of the war.

Nice to see you around! I am still nostalgic for the only PBEM I played with you, as I believe it was the first AoW1 PBEM I played.
Unfortunate to hear that you find them too much work though; personally I find the anxiety goes away once you lose ten PBEMs in a row to Mimo (possibly more, but vanity forbids to admit it) How's it going? Both AoW1 and AoW2 are on the cards!
