Without cutting and pasting a whole bunch of small squares, I'm gonna guess 1 of 2 option:

1) Phoenix rising from the ashes ala Age of Wonders or
2) A chicken pooping on us all.

I know which one I'd prefer. (As far as I could get is attached!)

Happy Holidays Dave and welcome back from your move and computer-less living!

Someone over on the main forum pieced the puzzle together. Here is the link

It's probably a new series. At least that's what it looks like to me from the graphic.
From the pic it looks like we've got a Goblin Thief, a Dwarf Rune Master, some kind of bird/dragon creature and a city flying a red flag. I would say these are fairly good signs that it's Aow 3!

I refuse to get excited until I know it's turn based and DRM free...
Well, we can't say that it uses towers.

Don't forget that it's likely to have zombies.
AOW1 didn't have zombies.

Agreed we don't know if it's going to be turn based, but I doubt they would make such a sudden departure from their sacred ground. I don't think anyone can reasonably begrudge Triumph for using DRM though. DRM is necessary to fight copyright infringement online, helps them maintain artistic control and ensures they have a continuous stream of revenue from game sales. They have a lot of hard working staff who deserve to get paid well.

Fair point, although I did notice the city has a hole in the middle which is where a wizard's tower could go.

That's the summoning circle. This is actually the sequel to Master of Magic.

Well I distinctly remember the series having zombies. Some of the games at least.
AOW1 made the undead shine.

You are both right =)
Zombies were not in Aow1, but were in Wizard's Throne and Shadow Magic.

I just remembered/realised that if you are right I really hope they do something like the nice summoning scenes in MoM. I love them. There's something to be said about you summoning them in your workplace in your tower (Like what you do in MoM. Your tower is where it happens.) instead of units plopping up here and there. Makes it more personal and you feeling like a badass magic ruler. :)
