Arnuz: I think that the mpe mod fixed that exploit, as cancelling a migration doesn't restore alignment anymore.

I don't think that the malus is town specific either in mpe, but always global.
So if you have 5 Archon cities and 1 Undead city, you can force yourself to stay Pure Evil by migrating all your Archon cities and then canceling it immediately?

Not sure - starting a migration away from human immediately gave me a human malus, but I don't know if it's per city or if it happens only once.

There are two ways of playing: PBEM and live games. With PBEM you play your turn, it gets automatically emailed to the next guy, they play it sometime in the next few days, and it gets emailed to the next guy, and so on. It is slow, but very convenient.

For live games, I think you will have better luck finding players on the steam forum or the discord server https://discord.gg/SjRR8K

The unofficial 1.4 patch is much better than the original 1.3 patch

The MPE mod is also very good and lets you mod the game very easily yourself.

I don't think it matters whether you have the Steam or AoW version, except maybe if you're having trouble getting it to work.

Wow, thanks for the quick answer! How does it translate by the simple words "PBEM"? Am i right that it is a function in start menu when u choose the way how to play in multiplayer type as LAN, INTERNET, EMAIL? And email games = PBEM? Anyway, thanks for the links. Email battle reminds me about one game "sea battle". It seems like the game would be endless :D.
Should i install both patches (unofficial 1.4 patch and MPE mod) to the game folder? Or it has a special way how to install this? Thank you.

Ja, PBEM = Play By Email and they can take a long time. Patches are just installed onto the game folder.

Going to restart this PBEM with threekings instead of thereunto, I just noticed thereunto saying we shoild mosey on without him.

All battles between players use auto-combat, so you have to factor that in when making your strategic decisions.

Since only one player is active at a time, it is generally fairest to have the AI handle both sides in player versus player combat. You can choose whether to use tactical combat or auto combat when you are fighting against non-player forces, though.

PBEM does take significantly longer to get through a game, but it also allows players that don't have large blocks of time at the same time to play together, which becomes especially important when you have players from different continents in the same game. :)

Um, that was a less than ideal start to my campaign of conquest. Such are the vagaries of ruling the small, weak, and numerous. Many, many, many lives were lost due to stupidity. Maybe you guys should try standing behind the shields next time instead of in front of them? Idiots.

The turn order is the same as the names in the files, IRC the same as the map standard: emperor, Stefanus, Godiva, Ohma, Obryn.

Edit: my bad, the turn order is:
Emperor Purius
Prince Stefanus
Omah Krimhogde
Lady Godiva
Obrynn the wise
