Goblins, Day 13

Today was a good day. Well, technically an evil day. But you know what I mean. Vaughn Han does Vaughn Han things and earns our Empire some more gold. Wish I could do it as efficiently as a Prince or Emperor, but my roving bands are not strong enough to take anything of importance.

Stefanus, day 14

A very long day. I don't have strong roving bands, but they are everywhere, and keep dying but granting me little sums of gold here and there that keep me afloat. Half a month and I'm still far in negative income!

I suddenly see a strong dark elf hero, hidden in the shadows till the very last moment. The spider lady is quite a sight!

Restart because the battery died, I saw the alert but forgot. These DoD turns take HOURS!

Goblins, Day 14

After two full weeks exploring the evil forest, we have decided to turnaround and head home with our strong group of scouts. A near infinite number of zombies and spiders have been fought in overnight ambushes, but our intrepid band of explorers miss home. And their 72 gold per day upkeep that I cobble together by starving my empire needs to be repurposed due to a change in administration.

Very frustrating and a complete waste of resources and time.

In other news, one of the Vaughn Hans is getting nicely pimped out in gear these days. Living up to expectations though it would have been easier if the super powered Vaughn Han whom I met had just joined me as expected rather than asking for a duel like the medium powered Vaughn Han before him.

Prince Stefanus, day 15

The emperor detaches some heroes and charioteers to slaughter a small group of soldiers apparently just standing on a recruitment centre, surely to recruit the powerful archon hero lying within...
Little did he know that those soldiers had just razed the recruitment centre! As his heroes have consumed their spells it seems too good an opportunity to pass by and despite not having as many meatshields as I'd like I go for it, as I have close by some token troops but also my best hero and the wolf turned into a doomwolf. The dust settles on a carnage, and the set of battles is painful for both sides, much to the happiness of the rest of the world...

I'm being a bit slow with turns because holidays. These wolves turning doomwolves are good at the end but I'm not yet sold on the worthiness of 13 gold/day until that point!

Dark Elves Day 15

More wandering around, all troops seem to wander into blue owned stuff, or be blocked off by blue troops. Move!

Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't.

Forgot where I was going and did a lot of backtracking to refresh my memory.

Stefanus day 16

Again lots of small fights, some good, some bad. I lose a very unlucky golden medal troll. Slowly the maintenance gets under control, while the numbers of unexplored dungeons start dwindling.

The Vaughn Han, Day 16

Not sure about all the other heroes using my name, but I'm no longer walking in their shadows. That's for damn sure. Sorta want to meet someone someday so I can beat my chest and show off all my useless loot.

The Emperor seems to be turtling up, dedicating his superpowered hero to recapturing a few mines around Factorius. The capital is impenetrable, but that leaves the rest of us free to explore the countryside at leisure. I wonder how much the orcs have developed the Vaugh Han!
We explore the southern swamp, while the dark elves move their troops strategically, seemingly in order to focus forces...
