Julia, day 6

We can't have frostling beasts scouting our rearlines, sorry neighbours.
Kasdar, Day 6

Why are all neighbouring town good aligned?

Turn sent.
Inioch - Day 6

Release the Hell Hounds! The Lizardmen village we conquered burns to the ground, and we loot a nearby Elven city.

You know, unless you're okay with me having total knowledge of everything the Undead are up to, you really should start sending me the right file :p
At present I'm getting the end of your turn, and am pressing end turn to get to mine.
Highmen Turn 6-

We will beat back the Undead scourge. Inioch no longer hears reason, burning and pillaging with corpses animated with hatred. The Frostlings to the North have agreed to peace and honour the sanctity of a life node nearby. The lizards gather their forces and expand to the south, in unity and peace with our cause.
Julia, day 7

We are forced to attack an explorer from the highmen to go through a narrow passage, hopefully the neighbours will see that it's not a declaration of war. They seem to have bigger problems what with the undead scourge going on nearby.
Inioch - Day 7

The Humans begin to explore quite aggressively, and so we have no choice but to exterminate their forces. As I absorb their souls and grow stronger, I am temporarily forced to hide in a hole and recover. I observe a castle ruin nearby, and can sense great power within. Whether this energy emanates from creatures or artifacts, I look forward to becoming even more powerful.

PS Pretty sure I'm still sending the ends of my turns. I'm not using the wrapper because it doesn't work with the email I check daily and I'll likely be alot slower using another email. Anyone else not using the wrapper? And knows how to send turns properly? lol

Why not make a separate gmail account for AoW? The wrapper really is a convenient little app (and manual sending is a bit of a mystery).

But with the wrapper, you don't have to check your email.... that's kinda the point :P
The wrapper checks your email without you even opening the email account.

The answer to file issues is usually:
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com
Julia, day 8

Our progress is awfully slow... meanwhile, the lizards are showing up so far north already?? What did they have for breakfast?
What's up with this one?
Sorry, I was away from home for few days.

Kasdar, Day 8

Level ups are good.

Turn sent.
Highmen Day 8-

Inioch tests the limits of his undead hordes and finds them wanting- forced to hide away in a hole- a sign his scourge can be defeated. To the west the Dwarves emerge from the underground, and striving for peace and prosperity form a steadfast alliance. The Keepers multiply in numbers while Inioch rethinks his invincibility and methods of pillage and madness. The Elves, in exchange for the sanctity of their homes, reach for a tentative balance and consider the price of peace and unity.

To the North the Frostlings expand and conquer the vast, frozen expanse with remarkable speed. Hopefully the sanctified strength of the Highmen and their bordered lands offer defense to the south and keeps the peace with these hardened nomads. To the South the Lizardmen multiply in their bogs and take the surrounding lands by force. Neutrality is key for these forces, but soon they will see the carnage and mayhem the Cult of Storms drives- and will have to decide whether they will join or oppose. The Keepers will always strive for sanctum and harmony, even in the troubled times of this Uneasy Silence.
Undead - Day 8

The Human Leader, Joseph, catches me off guard as he is surprisingly aggressive and shockingly powerful. I am forced to retreat and regroup with my forces. I may be able to draw him to a probable death should his recklessness continue, but I expect a mutual retreat.

To the south, we observe an Undead city occupied by Lizards; we evaluate our options and keep a watchful eye.
