Why? Because of the new class system they have to make every race/class combination for the special units(4-5 for every class) so its a bit silly if you waited for 12 races. Anyway the number of units will be the same as in AoW 2 WT . New races will come via dlc/expansion and they said this from the beginning so no surprise here.

Anyone know if they're going to focus on multiplayer? If so my dreams of having unbalanced but FUN TO PLAY races, maps and random map generator maps are no more.

If they make dlc which I would have to pay for I won't be getting AoW 3. Then I'll just wait for a complete package in a few years.

Uh? That's not how DLC works. EU3 complete (Chronicles) with all it's expansions does not have the DLCs.
I seriously doubt that making the races DLCs (for instance) is the route they will go, it will probably an expansion.

Other games' complete editions do have all the dlc though.

I'm not too worried. If we've been waiting ten years for it, we can wait another few months and I would rather they took their time and gave it the care and attention it deserves as a game.

I think Age of Wonders is the best game our country has produced when it comes to video games. Oh and of course Killzone which I don't care about.
