It would be nice to save during the prep phase so i dont have to arrange items again and apply poison/whetstones or other stuff everytime i lose a fight.

And yes i know i could just load the save from before the fight but not having to place every character again would also be a nice thing.

Seconded, especially since you can't give potions to all your followers in one go, you need to close the inventory each time.
