Sunfire7: About incorporation - it's up to the devs (1), and yes, they seems quite busy with TNW (2).
Some of these bugs were discovered a months/year(s) before, long before the last patch, some - just recently by various fans.
I've decided to fix them by myself 'cause of a reason #2 mostly.
Well, cheers for doing that. While not detracting from the game overall, every time I see those little issues I wonder why it wasn't fixed - and in some cases, I wonder whether it was intentional or not.
Speaking of "is it intentional?", do you know if the Steel Auxiliary armor sold by one of the merchants in Maadoran is intentional or not? It seems a bit odd as it's the only steel armor sold in the whole city (possibly the whole game?). I always assumed it was some kind of weird balance decision or something...
Well here are two things that bugged me, but I don't think they need a mod as such - they're just oddities/anomalies:
First one is really minor but always bugged me - why does the Innkeeper in Teron not have a name? A fair few of the starting vignettes pretty much assume you've lived in Teron (or been there a while at least). On top of that, he knows your name! It's especially jarring when you play the mercenary, since he's your boss - and yet you don't know his name? Yeah it's a really, really minor issue - and no I can't think of a good name for him - but it always stood out.
Another thing that stood out, but that is more of a logic/lore issue: the demon in the Zamedi tower is described as reading a book. At first I thought this was a cleverly written piece; however, there are no books anywhere in the world! Only scrolls! I guess it's possible that the "invention" of books disappeared at some point though, but it still seems odd (how would your character know that it's a "book" for a start?).
BTW Someone should probably sticky this thread - or at least those two mod links.
