Man, this is the type of stuff that will attract gamers to GoG. I was thinking of just holding off on Absolver, seeing how I have plenty of games to play right now, but damn. Offering another game for free with a pre-order? One that happens to be on my wishlist. Damn you GoG!

Yeah, gotta agree. Usually I'm no fan about preorder (even more so on GOG since usually I don't know how developers will treat the gog version if compared to the steam one, but since this game has crossplay with steam they HAVE to take care of both versions) but I can't let this one slip, as Furi is a game on my wishlist too :) .
Let it be said that Furi is a swell game. Short, to the point, and a very interesting concept. It's been a while since I've seen boss battles done this well - moves are telegraphed well, nothing feels bullet-spongey or downright cheap, and the character designs, while more than just a bit weird, are well-done and interesting. Same for the mechanics. It feels like you're dueling someone very competent in your own weight class, not desperately hacking at the ankles of some screen-filling monstrosity until it keels over.

I've almost got my money's worth from the pre-order bonus alone, that's quite the achievement.

I feel exactly the same way! It's almost a steal, lol.
I just found out that the Steam version came with pre-order items ingame.
Did GOG's version? If so, shame I missed the pre-order but I guess I'll completely skip it if so.

GOG's version came with pre order goodies, too, yes. There was an armor set, a mask, and then on top of that the game soundtrack. I might have forgotten something, but that should be (most of) it.

Ah damn, really?
Think they'll sell it as dlc later?

It's possible. It's happened before :)

I hope so. I was debating getting it, mostly whether I could run it.
Then next thing I knew it was the 29th and it was released.
Still kind of wish I went through steam as the GoG versions seems to be having issues im not hearing about on steam forums

What kind of issues? If you mean server side, many australian people are arguing on steam due missing promised server for your country.

If you meant that steam wise you could ask for a refund, I have to a gree though. I'm not amazed with GOG refund policy.

Oh, I heard it happened to a few people, but didn't know it was only GOG side.
