I played a pirated version of this game when it came out and was waiting for a DRM-free release to buy.

The game is awesome, bought it the second it came out on GOG.

what pisses me off is that they lost no word whatsoever that they'd try to release their game on GOG. I hate these GOG launches 2-3 months after steam.

As of now I'll just not buy any SP game on steam ever again because it will most likely end up here.

Really a shame Focus wait so long to release it here, I would love to have it here on GOG and not on Steam. But as it seems they are releasing every of their games here I'll never buy one of their games on Steam. I just wait from now on.

It was a relief to see it pop up here, I admit. I let Steam go a while ago, it was a most depressing consumer experience.

I was brave enough to wait, when I saw that VAMPYR launched on GOG after I bought it on Steam I said to myself this must come to GOG as well I just need to wait. And now I have VAMPYR on Steam and A Plague Tale: Innocence on GOG, I hope that FOCUS still release all their games on GOG.

That's why i haven't bought The Surge 2 as yet. Cause i'm not in the mood to keep double buying games. It's really freakin annoying. So glad i waited to buy Greedfall.

Sometimes they can't because of legal reasons or to not give word to the competition (like what old games they're working on fixing), though I am somewhat surprised we didn't get a heads-up in case of some modern games like this one. :-/ sometimes you buy on Steam and then wait for a discount on the GOG release, other times you can wait as long as you want for a GOG release

GOG is also just now getting the 2 Styx games and Of Orcs and Men. To be fair though, the Styx games even on Steam are DRM Free (dunno about the other game).
