The game defaults to French at the start, despite the fact that I have an English OS (might've used my keyboard to detect the language to use) and there doesn't seem to be an in-game option to change the language.

Maybe I've missed it, but is there a way to change the game language (Galaxy has that option greyed out since it's supposedly set in-game).

Hey POLE,

The easiest way to force a language would be to modify the desktop shortcut.
- Right Click on the Armies/Hordes Shortcut and click Properties
- Then as seen in the image attached , go to the end of the path on the Target
- add a space, then the following Language=EN-US
-- Note in the example image, I changed my language to German ‘DE-DE’

Are you planning to indroduce language change via GOG Galaxy? AFAIK Galaxy launches the game directly, not with shortcut - can you launch the game with different language with Galaxy?
