We have no idea what you're talking about because your screenshot didn't attach. GOG has a very stupid, very limited 500 kb limit per attachment, with a 2mb total per post.

It's called "the ground".
If you look vertically down right now in real life, you'll see basically the same (though the texture may differ, dependent, of where you stand, while looking vertically down).

The ground has already been taken... so how about your shoes?

There have been emergency calls of a strange object over people's houses... Ultimately they were told it was the moon and not to worry.

This strange pattern under your feet is the Road, or are the Roads.

Sometimes such Roads are so weirdly aligned with what you understand of reality that you really think its something from your head.
Other times such Roads are not aligned with what you understand of reality at all and all you can do is meditate using such vision as a background of confuse thoughts.

My recommendation is that you should find a quiet place and be silent.
Looking down or up, no matter, you will start to contemplate what such Roads are trying to tell you.

Not that I mean that the Roads speak for themselves. No, they actually don't.
Roads are just inanimate responses coming from your own mind and experiences of said reality.

I only posted a PNG file at GOG today with no problem. So might have been the size in your case.

Anyway, if I was to hazard a guess, that is a glass beaker ... or was ... that contained a magic potion, and has fallen on the carpet and smashed. There looks to be a toxic vapor too, so I would get out of there real quick.

Under my feet? You have no feet in Skyrim, that's the strangest part of the mystery :)

If you turn that by 90° it almost looks like an exploded-view drawing of a Ringwraith helmet.

I assume, someone at Bethesda got inspired by the LOTR trilogy for their Daedric armor design.
