Well there are some releases but most of them are uniteresting. What i like to see is games from big publisher even old ones, like Battlefield 2 or Vietnam... , Command & Conquer games - that would worth even as preserving valuable game art. Also if they manage to get games like Battle for Middle Earth ( even just for non US market if licencing is big problem) just to preserve masterpiece. Warcraft 3+ Frozen Throne!!! There is so many good old games worth preserving.
For recent releases i like to see big sony games like Days Gone, Uncharted , and now God of War ( but pricing should be more reasonable. , 30 for game from 2018 is too much especially when it was 16,8 on other store! 10 months ago...)
Other releases that interest me are Tomb Raider remaster (i would rather see Rise of TR or Shadow of TR) and goodblooking is Manor Lords.
They should work harder on publishers like Sega to release at least Total War Medieval 2 , original TW Rome and Shogun 2 ,Attila ,Rome 2 !
I would love to see Tony hawk 2 or Call of Duty Modern Warfares old and "new" (2019)....

I am glad that there are quite releases every week but honestly not are my cup of tea. Last interested releases were Tomb Raider and Sinking City and i don't buy yet. So the less number of new interested games, more time to clean our backlog.
Sure gog are preparing a couple of good releases for the summer sale.

My preference in games has changed.
The "old me" would have been content or even pleased with the new releases. The best releases so far for me, in the last couple of years, has been the Yakuza games and the various military strategy games.
For the last year or so, I want games that I feel comes from a real place, I don't want another generic Sci-fi or Fantasy game that could have been made anywhere, in any country. Instead I want Fantasy, Sci-fi or other, that feels Japanese, Chinese, Swedish, French, Greek, and so on.In language, in design, in music etc.
With so much of our entertainment media pushing us towards a Californian/Hollywood-like culture-less soulles path, I've come to really value games that dare to be cultural, that dare to be polish, korean and so on.
In that respect I haven't been satisfied with GOG's releases lately. For one thing I want to see more Wuxia, or "Chinese Fantasy", games on GOG. There's lots of them on Steam but hardly any on GOG.And more historical games like Imperiums: Greek Wars.

My satisfaction with GOG releases varies all the time and always has since I became a customer here.
They obviously do things in waves, and in the last few years have clearly diversified a bit too.
And when I first came to GOG, I was playing catch up for quite a while. Still, since I've been a customer here I have bought quite a lot, and it would be fair to say most of those games weren't must haves but were about some degree of interest or curiosity, and me just wanting to expand my experiences and taste etc ... plus also what my kids and their kids might like.
The worst period for me at GOG, was in the months leading up to the release of Cyberpunk 2077. As clearly it seems to me, the GOG store was on some kind of back burner for a while, while no doubt many of their staff were helping out with testing etc, especially as the deadline approached. Anyway things improved a lot and have continued to improve at GOG once Cyberpunk 2077 was released, some issues aside.
All that said, I don't think GOG are as focused on certain types of games like they used to be.
Perhaps that is down to finances and diversification, and or maybe down to how hard it is to get the remaining old games, or just the usual difficulty in selling DRM-Free to game providers post COVID. And the Epic store certainly wouldn't be helping with all their free games, which surely has impacted GOG a lot.
But I do admit to being pleasantly surprised and impressed with some games that have turned up in the last few years at GOG, if not their prices sometimes, especially in the last year or so.
I have over a thousand items on my wishlist at GOG, and some money to spend.
It is really only the pricing holding me back ... though GOG still manage to sell a game or three to me every week on average.
P.S. In regard to prices generally, they have gone up in the last couple of years on average, and therefor begun to turn me away, especially as I have so many games already. A lot of games turning up at GOG now are more expensive than games in the past. Perhaps that is a sign that GOG is doing better financially now, are appealing to a different type of customer, who is more affluent and who likes Galaxy, cares less about DRM-Free etc etc.

For people like me who loves old games there were not interesting releases lately. On the other hand, I understand, that it is not possible release games like Chasm: The Rift or original Blade Runner each month. Still waiting for some good old games here.
From all this years releases I only wishlisted one game, but there was nothing what I bought (from new releases).

I really hope Dave the Diver would appear on GOG in the future.
Among the recent releases few have gone on my wishlist, e.g. Manor Lords.
I am also looking forward to more Sony games.
