Congratulations you're a winner.
Here take this token to that man over there.... no not that nice looking one with a smile, the one in the dark alley way. He will take your name and address, fit you with a tracking collar and you get to have access this discounted copy of a Witcher.
No mention of deep throating, but heavily implied.

That implies some effort on VALVe's behalf and Future Publishing getting a salty treat at the end.

No they're doing this because of some messed up conditioning. They just going through the motions, mouth wide open and making chocking sounds.

We do live in a time in which current generations of PC Gamers just don't know anyting else anymore. They grew up with Steam, don't know better, don't care to know better and don't drink.

That excuses the multitude on drones that type "No Steam, No Play".

It most certainly doesn't excuse a "professional" journalist (even if he does look 12, I searched online found his linked in account), nor does it excuse their editor.

I have a serious beef with this publications breaches of Press Standard, but this article goes beyond the pale.
The sad part is that it's not just PC Gamer, virtually every media channel behave in the same way, not to mention the big YouTubers and Twitch streamers. Most of them would probably argue in favor of market competition, but do a lousy job of actually encouraging or representing it.

It doesn't take much effort to find out where a game is sold apart from Steam, sites like isthereanydeal will do the job for them ... the only thing these journalists have to do is simply type in the title. Kids can do this in a heartbeat, why can't "trained" journalist do the same ?!

Are the Witcher games on sale on GOG as well, as if not, then there's no reason to mention GOG, as that whole thing is about sales.

... I guess the conclusion is that he ain't a pro. Essentially hes a marketplace crier for Valve advertising Steam versions of Witchers and Fallouts.
