A new breed of space game.

EVERSPACE™, an intense roguelike space shooter is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com. Its price during In Development is 25% lower than it will be once the game gets fully released.

Everything in EVERSPACE™ is meant to be spectacular. It presents a vision of space a far cry from the desolate expanses we're so used to – instead, offering up beauty that's hard to match, tons of surprises, and easy-to-pick-up action gameplay worthy of the coolness we expect from space combat.

With feedback from 10,000 testers in the closed beta, the project has already seen its share of improvements – including a significant content update for its launch in development. Still, ROCKFISH Games already have a plan for new content (including new ships, layers, and fully voice-acted non-linear story) and updates all the way up until the release. For a closer look at the development process, check out the recently-gone-public Beta forums on the developer's website.

Discover a procedurally generated, roguelike galaxy unlike any other in EVERSPACE™, DRM-free on GOG.com!

You're making a lot of goglins in the "misspelling pet peeve" thread happy today, I see. XD
The "https://www.gog.com/game/everspace" link looks to me as a broken link.
Thank you EVERSPACE devs for joining GID program. So that this don't becomes No Man's Space.
Wishlisted.
Great, more high end graphics crap...

Hah, just kidding - felt I had to jump on the anti-whatever-graphics bandwagon :p
where on the gog homepage does it state that this game is in development?

Honestly, I have more important things to do than click on a release to then discover the full game does not exist.
this looks pretty sweet!

It's written on the news item and there is a tag for the game in the "NEW" section as well.

What's up with pricing between GOG and Steam? Price in Steam is 27,99€ and on GOG it's 37.99€ (28.49€ with 25% launch discount)? I assume the discount lasts for the duration of the indev period and is removed once game is released while Steam price will rise to match release price?
Video doesn't give much info, but looks alright.....
Will watch to see how it turns out, wouldn't mind another X style of game.

Watched a bunch more vids, so shoot, move, shoot, move....eh, thus the idea of something deep dies a death.
Was hoping for something with more substance, perchance it will have more, doesn't bode well so far.

So, anyone play this game yet, either in the beta or here?

"Procedurally generated space game" doesn't have the same appeal it did before No Man's Sky dropped...

is it a good idea to release this unfinished game so short after the no man's sky desaster?

but who am i telling, gog has a crush on moronic ideas since 2014 anyway
