Total game count displayed in My Games
Hey guys please vote below. I guess this is way more important. www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy/option_to_not_count_hidden_games_in_the_all_games_section
This feature is something I'd dearly love to have. It would be even better if it could also indicate the current total number of games in the catalog as well so if people have a goal of owning the whole catalog it's a great way to let them know how far they have to go to accomplish that.
A permanent display of the game count in one's account is a simple (already implemented but inexplicably hidden when there're no updates) and most of all a must have feature.
Dear GOG, the number of basic features provided through userscripts and such is getting a bit embarrasing high. You need to up your game in this department.
Cheers!
I love all the suggestions here. Part of the draw of GoG is in building and manipulating our "collections." I'm willing to bet I'm not the only one here who used to save all his boxes and have them displayed so that others could see. Now, I'd like to be able to do the same here. Sharing and statistics are excellent ways to appeal to that market (meaning: me :) )
This is the first thing I noticed that gog doesn't have. I would like a count of the games I own, and maybe some other statistics like full games vs dlc, genres, etc.
Recently i have noticed that whenever there are game updates, the total number of games is displayed along with the number of updated games. eg. 104 games, 2 new. However as soon as you click on the new games, the total number of games is not shown anymore. It would be great if the indicator would stick or be shown somewhere else on the screen. I think this is easy to implement and wont cause any overhead when loading the game shelf.
Second the above. The thing with me is that I've got a ton of games, and rather than trying to count out the rows it would be nice if there was a number near the top that just told me the total number of games I own. It would be relatively simple to implement, and wouldn't disrupt the flow of hte page at all. For the statistics in the above comment, you could add the information to each individual game's "more details" section, though I doubt that information is readily available at this time, and there would be some creative queries involved in figuring it out.
I'd like to see more such statistics about my games. Especially because that same information is available for Gog.com oweners. Like how many times I've downloaded a game or when was the last time I downloaded some game?
