UltraComboTV A large portion of the user base despise facebook. This little redirect is an ongoing issue. Many may stop using Galaxy if it continues.
MilkSheikh007 Hi, the request is as stated. I had a Facebook account and FB locked me out of it totally citing an untrue reason. However unfortunate it is, I once long before linked my 'that previous' Facebook account with my GOG account. I would LOVE to see GOG unlink them, otherwise, in the future, my GOG account maybe negatively affected by being linked with an account that is dormant/inactive or might be miused by hackers. I wish I could unlik them myself but because I can't log into my previous Facebook account, I can't unlink it. The unliking can only happen if someone logs into via Facebook. From within GOG it can't happen. I wish I can unlink it from inside GOG.
JakobFel This is pretty absurd, to be honest. Facebook is a scum company, sure, but having an option to login via Facebook is hardly anything bad. Just ignore it. Wishlist entries like these come across as incredibly petulant.

lexluthermiester Social Media is social media, so long as it remains optional there is no problem. However, the user should have the option to permanently remove or hide social media options on a case by case basis.
drmsux I've considered using Galaxy, but run Linux and prefer the manual installers anyway. Now that I know it involves Facebook, or any of the other anti-privacy companies (Google, the rest of the "social" shit), there's no way I will ever install it, as anything that plugs into these "services" becomes spyware by extension. Bad form, GOG.

Wolve-San Just the login feature, for Facebook, Google, Twitter and so on, collect data for their services. So Facebook gets information about every IP, even if the users are not logged in. It's a thing that privacy defenders are criticise since years.
