Adult content account filter option
I think Steam's solution is fantastic and it's not about being able to just apply a filter in the store- it's about being able to set a filter on your account to customise your store experience.
For example, I want to just omitt the sexually explicit (porn games where it is the primary focus) without affecting other R18+ games that might have some or none of this content (like Cyberpunk/Witcher/Doom/whatever).
And it's not just while searching in the store, but filtering the entire store experience including New Arrivals, etc.!
See the screenshot- it's my ideal option.

+1. I don't want to see porn in my game store.
I threw together a quick & dirty Tampermonkey script that should do the job, but I'd really like this as an official feature.

I'm surprised GOG didn't build this feature at the same time they decided to host NSFW games.
Yes, it can already be filtered, but browsing discounted games and having the filter them either by not clicking them or by selecting the appropriate filter, is a waste of time and of brain power.
Filter Sexual Content (there's a tag in the filters of the store too) would probably exclude some games some users don't want to be filtered (pretty sure).
Instead NSFW would be more suitable (all those games have certainly this tag in their respective store page) but its already possible to browsing the store with this tag : you just need to enter the word manually under tags section and selecting the eye on the right to filter out those games. (probably with so many tags all of them are not visible without typing it).
However an implicite entry checkbox in the user preferences would be much more better than the workaround above.
I vote for this feature just because the actual solution offered by GOG isn't really good.
However some users don't consider those titles as trash or shovelware : just respect them as i respect those who don't want to see those titles while browsing the store.
+1 For a NSFW filter.
On a freely accessible site that markets products to children, you think this would be a no brainer.
I would really appreciate a NSFW filter where I don't have to see these sex games you keep adding to your site, GoG. Everyone else is free to buy such games but I'm personally not into that.
Come on, GoG! Steam has this, and literally everyone here wants this except one histrionic loser named after a lost city of gold. I can't even look at the new releases without being bombarded by this sludge.
Bookmark this link and use it instead of the homepage...

Now stop shaming people will you. The antisex movement is manipulative and evil, if this is where you are coming from, please do some reading on connections between anti-sex / anti-porn activism and religious extremism, white supremacy and anti-Semitism. And I am not joking, look it up.
Aww... what's the matter don't like it, You idiots wanted it.
There is no excuse for there being no filter for this garbage, and furthermore, I don't know who at GOG decided their site needed to allow it in the first place, but they should be fired.
I'd like a way for my personalized, default view to exclude adult/erotic games.
I'm thoroughly in favor of adult games having a home on GOG. However, very few of them would ever be to my tastes, and I'm perfectly capable of searching out that content when and if I want it. I'd rather not have my usual store experience cluttered with scantily-clad women breasting boobily across the screen.
If you can have a big banner advertising NSFW content, how hard can it be to implement a filtering system based off of it? AFter the recent deluge of adult content, without the option to filter, I'm going to have to uninstall the gog store from all computers that my kids play on.
I welcome adult content, but I *do* mind the deluge of shovelware that GOG seems to be allowing. This speaks to a larger issue of GOG's lacking quality control. GOG used to be a great destination for curation.... Adult content games here are just manifestations of the rot building up on this store front.
An adult filter should definitely be in the account settings.
Don't mind adult content being sold, it is good they got places to sell.
But the amount is overwhelming with so many underwhelming quality it is absurd, no quality control. It is going the same direction as steam where it is just trash on trash on trash.
And it is making finding other things hard to find that are not porn/hentai with some weird gaming. (Not to mention some fetishes are really borderline psychological help hints)
Likely going to have set gog *not* to auto-login if we can't change this soon.
Adding a more general EXCLUSION filter option, not only for NSFW content but other tags such as JRPG, nudity, etc...
This week has been too much. I won't buy anything/come back/recommend GOG until the porn thing gets under control. It is a literal crapfest right now. There are good visual novels, also with erotic content, but this mass produced shit has terrible quality and is everywhere. I'm out for now, will check if there is any improvement when Silk song is released.
I was coming to GOG today to spend some money but I can't turn off NSFW content so I'm going elsewhere.
Crappy porn asset flics is not what I come to GoG for. Sort this out.
The opt-out for the erotic content would be enough for me, but the opt-in should be the standard on a page visited by kids.
Indeed, wish I could opt out (or rather, have to opt in). It can put me off browsing the store sometimes, content not suitable for all places or situations.
Please make adult content explicitly opt-in, as it should not be seen at all by users who do not wish it
I can't stress this enough, if everytime I browse gog for games I don't want to have porno thumbnails pop at me
