The Journeyman Project Turbo
Pegasus Prime just isn't the same. I want the original (well, Turbo version, anyway).
It is great that Pegasus is on GOG but I want to experience the enhanced original JP Turbo. It is a wildly different experience in many ways and deserves its individual recognition.
Only place I can play it is Classic Reload: classicreload.com/win3x-journeyman-project-turbo.html
Ended up buying the original CD since this isn't available anywhere else. Would love to be able to see this running on current Windows Systems, however.
would love to see this on here, awesome game from the past!
I've always wanted to play Pegasus Prime, but I'd hate for it to completely replace the original.
This probably won't happen due to reasons already stated, but you can at least look forward to Pegasus Prime coming soon!
Please release this game, we need the whole series complete!
I lost my discs so it would be awesome to have this on GOG and to play it again.
All of us need it .............. !!!
Please ....
;-)
Hope the first game in the series could somehow make it onto GOG.com - would be sad to see it unavailable for modern systems :(
Hey guys, take a look! journeymantribu.wordpress.com/ andyjourneyman.blogspot.com.br/
they are pretty good!
I recently got a disc copy *not sure if it's orginal or not, as I can't remember triptych on it* Though it is the same game I remember.
The only OS it won't run on for me is windows 7+8 for me, & I had to resort to playing it in Hyper-V of windows XP... I would LOVE for this to be recoded so it could play within modern OS's.
I spent more hours learning & getting Hyper-V & Remote desktop connection to work as intended on a single computer then I care to admit so I can play it.
The problem with this game is it was designed for 16-bit windows 3.1. It would take much work to update it to work on 64 bit systems. I would love to see that someday.
But until then I'm looking forward to playing the Pegasus Prime windows port, when it comes out.

I picked up a copy of it from eBay only to find that their was nothing on the disc... It would be fantastic to see this game on here. I wish to relive my childhood! lol
I'd love to see the whole series as a $10 or $15 bundle, or just $5 apiece. Love the series as a whole, great set of adventure games. The Journeyman Project Turbo was one of my first games.
what i would really like to see is this bundled with the enchanced pegasus prime that's coming out (assuming that gets sold on GOG too) much like the original and remake of first quest for glory is included
A separate wishlist has been added for the 1997 remake, The Journeyman Project: Pegasus Prime - www.gog.com/en/wishlist/games/the_journeyman_project_pegasus_prime
This was the first adventure game I ever played. It was shipped as an extra with my Packard Bell 100mHz machine running Windows 95. It was glorious. And I've been trying for over a year to get it to work ANYWHERE. I've gone so far as to virtualize a 95 machine and attempt to run it there, but it just bugs out and crashes. :(
The reason GOG is not releasing is evidently that it is a Windows 3.x game, hence it can't be run on Win7/64bit at all. It might be possible to set up an installation where Windows 3.x is run in DOSBox in order to play the game in Win7, but: - they'd need a permission from Microsoft to ship Windows 3.x with the game, ie. probably not going to happen - even then, setting it up might be quite tricky, ie. how you make it run foolproof without the user having to launch the game separately in the Win3.x session running inside DOSBox, a Windows release they might not be familiar with at all. I'd be very surprised to see the game released in GOG.
I wish we could at least get someone to say why 2 and 3 are available and 1 is not.
This game is very nostalgic for me and I remember it being a fun adventure game. Alas, the copy I have cannot run on Win7. Even the XP emulator won't do it.
