aguy281 I immediately buy all Zachtronics games upon release. Unfortunately GOG was quite clear that they wouldn't be offering this game so I purchased it on Humble. This is indeed another fantastic Zachtronics release.
lucamnz Opus Magnum is, like all other Zachtronics games currently on GOG, designed primarily PC/Mac/Linux and not for mobile platforms. I think that the choice of not accepting it in the GOG store should be reevaluated.

FattyJoker Just following up after Zachtronics' tweet with GOG's wobbling around their reasons for rejection without actually diving into them: 1) at best GOG picked their words quite poorly, at worst it's intentional zigzagging not far from usual EA-like corporate nonsense, either way I expect better from GOG; 2) if GOG really does care about the needs of its "entire user-base", maybe they should actually engage with said base and provide a bit of concrete info (here, via blog, on twitter -- anything would be better than plain silence); 3) what Tom Francis (Gunpoint, Heat Signature) tweeted in regards: if such well received title from established dev fails your review, maybe your process is not so great.

sirchaox1224 It continuously surprises me that GOG does not have every indie title on their store. GOG should be a hub for independent games, but is missing many (including RimWorld, which I was hoping to get here as well). I hope GOG will try to streamline this process and acquire any and all indie games into their store (I don't think there is any reason not to do this).

luxgladius From a financial point of view, I like Steam for the early access, updating histograms, and social aspect pf Zachtronics games, but I have also purchased all of them except one over here because I like having the DRM-free copy. If it doesn't come here, I can resort to the Humble Store, but honestly, I'd rather have the GOG version.
ForsakenEagle I really hope GOG didn't label this as a mobile game. Especially since GOG already has literal mobile-port games in its library. Hopefully it is just going to come out later like the previous Zachtronics games. This one looks SO freakin' good.

Thats my reason, all games of every developer/publisher should be here at GOG if they already have lots of games here, this way the customer has more choice of games.
Think back to the good old days retail stores were full with retail games and Microsoft and other welknown publishers made lots of games and all the games were avaialble in the retail shop, for the customer to decide what they will buy.
I believe if a dev/publ;isher has many games ALL his/her /their games should be avaialble for sale on GOG, this gives us wider choice in games and not limited to the games that GOG thinks are good enough to be on GOG ( i refer to the secretfiles: devs\publishers are here with many games but not with ALL their games, we need more choice)

FattyJoker Though I have a couple older Zachtronics' titles on Steam, I'd rather buy their fresh games on GOG since it's been steadily winning me over with its customer service and overall platform approach. The absence of Opus Magnum here would be a major disappointment. Hope this will be sorted out soon.
