No One Lives Forever 1 and 2
I would buy this the second it hit the store.
This series is in copyright limbo. GOG should figure out how to and secure the right to them.
Yes this one we should add to gog.
I'd love to find this on GoG, and if you throw in Contract J.A.C.K to go with these that would be cool too. Instabuy for me.
Bought both games years ago, never got around to playing them only to find they won't work on Windows 10, so currently can't play them. Would buy them again on GOG (hopefully a Linux version).
such a cool FPS game. unique style and it worked. loved it.
This may not be possible considering all the companies connected to it, but it still couldn't hurt to ask.
Would be great on GoG !
Blade Runner came out on GOG so never say never about some game you were hoping for being brought back
"No one at WB, Disney or Activision give a damn about making this happen."
It is not that no one gives a dman. The problem is, it would probabaly cost much more in lawyer and judicial court fees to sort out how has what rights to the game and who gets what sahre in the sales.
An enterprising Studio should just go out and make a game similar to NOLF. I mean something somewhere between Austin Powers, Mission Impossible, Avengers, James Bond, OSS 117. Maxwell Smart and whatever cheesy spy flick one can think off should still have a market withoput infringing on anything.
Well and here I am basking in my privilige of owning a physical copy of both. Thank print magazine DVDs. Also a thing of the past and people laughed at me, critizizing the rise of Steam. Oh well.
Sadly it ill never happen.
The game was made by Monolith (Warner Brothers now) and released thru Sierra (now Blizzard Activision) and 20 Century Interactive (now obviously Disney).
NightDive were struggling to obtain the rights for years and just gave up after gazillion attempts. No one at WB, Disney or Activision give a damn about making this happen.
NOLF2 Please.
Most insane, crazyest and best spy game ever created.
You can already play it for free right now or you can buy a physical copy, no need for GOG to charge for a download
yes yes ysy yes yes yes
yes, please add this timeless classic to your library to share it to everyone who would like to play it on modern systems! I have the original, but I can't get it working under win 10... :'(
I know there's little hope in rights being sorted for this franchise but I gotta give it a vote! Well worth seeking out! ;-)
I believe someone already tried to get the rights, but it's jammed up because no one knows for sure who owns it. The consensus was that no one wanted to take the chance to publish it.
The best article online was called "No one will sell No One Lives Forever, so let's download it"
Do it
Wow....I still have my original copy of NOLF 1...of course it won't install on Win10. GOG.....do what you do so well and fix this , please ?
Yes !!...I'll buy it and play it one more time !!
This is a must!
Oh please, we really need Cate Archer back!!!
NOLF needs to be experienced by more people. It's a crime that this game is not available anymore (at least officially). Must be product of H.A.R.M.'s evil practices.
I feel with Blade Runner getting sorted out this could maybe somehow happen one day.
Do it!
As long as you're (theoretically) at it, also do Contract J.A.C.K. from the same game universe. Thanks! And thanks for all the great work.
yes, this would be a great addition to the gog galaxay...it was a fun and enjoyable game.
I love NOLF 2. Make it happen
I remember playing a demo of either 1 or 2 eons ago, and liking it. Basically an alternate universe 007 in a way. Would love to play these games in full via a GoG release.
Yes
I would be very happy if GOG can add these games. They deserve to be here because everything about these games screams classic.
I wouldn’t hold my breath for this one: www.kotaku.com.au/2015/02/the-sad-story-behind-a-dead-pc-game-that-cant-come-back/
Yeah, absolutely fantastic games. And please no corpses displayed as envelopes (yeah, no kidding) like we had in the German version of the successor
Just a few seconds ago, I also wanted to play that again. The wonderful atmosphere, music... NOLF was a genius.
