Nelly Cootalot: The Fowl Fleet! (Retro Pirate Adventure)
Not having this title on the GOG catalogue is a sad affair...
"Unforeseen Incidents" and "Lamlight City" are both published by Application Systems Heidelberg.
Come on, GOG! You already feature games from this publisher. It seems like a no-brainer to me.
Now, please, get "Nelly Cootalot"'s ship out of DRM-infested waters into your safe harbour!

I also have very good software - No Virus - you can check the virus here: www.virustotal.com/

According to the publisher, it was GOG who dropped the ball after all. There was a short contact at GDC (no idea what year), but after that, GOG seemed to have kept total radio silence. No formal rejection or anything, they just didn't call back. I'm not sure whether GOG is proactive enough. It seems like a lot of day one releases slip through their fingers just because they don't have anyone dedicated towards contacting developers/publishers?! And it's of course really sad in that case. :|
@Saladien: I'm not that certain any more. Today Nelly Cootalot surfaced on Humble. And, surprise, no DRM free version, only a Steam key. Now the previously available versions of NC:TFF, both available online and the retail version, employ a PRODUCT KEY as DRM. A mild form of DRM, but definitely DRM. So essentially, even though the Kickstarter explicitly promised otherwise, there still is no DRM free version of Nelly Cootalot: The Fowl Fleet available today. Maybe the rejection from GOG is connected to Application System's silly product key shenannigans. We can't know. But I retract my former statements just in case. :(
gog dose not care...
C'mon GOG, what's wrong with this game? What's the problem about adding it to your catalogue and make it available for DRM free lovers? Is there anything to lose?
oops: manu should be many ....
rejected ? thats sad... i have seen many videos and played the demo 10 minutes ago...
well too bad then, i would have bought it, i have manu adventures/click and point on GoG and some on gamersgate and steam, so there is always room for another click and point game.
Its €16.99 now at sale on steam and on GamersGate(steam version). List price is: 19.99
Nothing's going on with GOG. According to some Nelly backers and a Kickstarter update from Alastair Becket, King GOG has in fact REJECTED this game. Even though it's actually well among the most anticipated games from the traditional adventure game crowd in 2016. GOG has been a fairly safe haven for adventure games fans for a few years, but recently they're slipping. The Beginner's Guide, Firewatch, The Witness ... top releases, many available DRM free, whooshing past GOG without so much as a mention. I'll wait for the Humble release in hopes that they'll not even have that stupid serial code nonsense. :(
+1. Now that Linux version is out. What's going on GOG?
Nelly... where are you?? Hello?
Nelly's new adventure totally deserves to be on GOG. Hint, hint. :)
How can anybody have any doubts about Nelly. Just try the free first pear of the game. It is just marvelous.
Nelly needs to put on her pirate-y adventuring corset and set sail for GOG Island!
Please? :D
There must be a ghastly mistake in the system - NC:TFF needs to be here!
I'm surprised this is not on GOG! This is the type of game that should be on GOG, many would definitely buy this game.
Please, bring Nelly to GoG. More point and click adventures for the win!
GOG. This on GOG. NOW.
I'm a longtime GOG member and LOVE good old-fashioned point-and-click adventure games. How is this NOT on GOG? Please bring it here.
I would love to see Nelly come to GOG. I love GOG and this game looks good.
A piratical-looking gentleman entreated me to vote here. Fearing that scurvy might be contagious, I agreed to his request.
look good. i voted here
Aaaaaand who dropped the ball on YET ANOTHER excellent adventure game... ?? Yes, it's gog.com, which is ominously missing from the uberfull list of Fowl Fleet distributors, released yesterday as part of the irresistable Fowl Fleet press release video. So, uhh, what's next? Will GOG drop the ball on Dog Mendonça and Pizza Boy as well, and dive into the muddy pool of literal insignificance at ludicrous speed? Stay tuned. Meanwhile, meet me at Humble. Because mine is an evil arrrrrr.
The game got funded today! Stretch goals, here we come! :D
I'd love to see Nelly come to GOG.
And Nelly has her own facebook page too. www.facebook.com/pages/Nelly-Cootalot/479990382054808
