I grew up on t hese games, would love to get them on GOG since Ambrosia SW is now vaporware.

Well, they are aiming for backwards compatibility with all of EV/EVO/EVN's plugins (or some kind of utility for converting them), and since EVN had a TC plugin to allow play of EV *in* the EVN engine... I suspect that means that the Claissic EV will be playable in Cosmic Frontiers - just via plug-in. Probably will be able to get EVN into it too.

Either way, awesome to see this classic game's remake in development so we can run it (nicely) on modern computers.

I would rather have remakes of the original Escape Velocity or Nova but I would still get this if it comes here.
