Giveaway, releases, goodies and content for a special Throwback Thursday

As we are experiencing the shortest days of the year, fight the winter melancholy with a bit of heartwarming nostalgia, the opportunity for a good deed, new releases, and an early present! It's this week's special Throwback Thursday!
Not only are we suggesting a game, it even comes as the second out of GOG's four time-limited Winter Sale giveaways. I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream will be waiting for you as a merry gift until the 25th at 2 pm UTC. The 1995 sci-fi classic, co-authored by Harlan Ellison, writer of the novel by the same name, is famous for its gripping immersive mood, dark psychological writing, and appealing characters.
To make it even merrier, it is accompanied by a special Support Pack, available until 5th January, at 2 pm UTC, including two great classics, Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate and Darklands, for $5.99. All proceeds from the sale of the pack go to support The Video Game History Foundation, so learn more about them in our interview with their founder. And don't miss the special goodies that they have dug out from their archives, added to selected games on GOG, full list at the bottom!
Forget all about the winter chill with releases from Forthright Entertainment and comebacks Apogee Entertainment Inc - two RPGs in 1986’s Shard of Spring and its sequel, 1988’s Demon's Winter, and two platformers with 1991’s Crystal Caves and 1992’s Secret Agent.

The game was created by the legendary Harlan Ellison where he greatly expanded on the sci-fi universe he described in his story by the same name. 5 unique anecdotes to play through. If you loved the story then this game is a must.
By letting you make mistakes but punishing you for them, I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream really makes you question your choices and watch your step. While you always hope for the best and have good intentions, just like in life, the outcomes of your actions in the game are usually much different than the ones you have expected. Very often, you are forced to do something you aren't happy with but it is necessary to progress the story forward.
Goodies, including concept arts and renders, were added to Anachronox, Daikatana, Gangsters - Organized Crime, Nox, Omikron - The Nomad Soul, Revenant, Thief The Dark Project, Tomb Raider 3, Total Annihilation, and Urban Chaos.
The Throwback Thursday series is done in cooperation with The Video Games History Foundation – a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, celebrating, and teaching the history of video games. If you want to support them, we encourage you to check their donation page. And if you'd like to see all the games in this ongoing series, go to its dedicated page.
