From Monochrome to Monarchy: King's Quest History - pt.4

With the release of the final two installments from the famous King's Quest series, we're posting the next part of "From Monochrome to Monarchy: King's Quest History" retrospective by David Craddock.
Since venturing forth into an unknown land to rescue his bride-to-be Valanice in 1985's King's Quest II: Romancing the Throne, King Graham had been relegated to the back burner of Sierra's King's Quest adventure games in favor of his twin children: Prince Alexander (known throughout the majority of King's Quest III as Gwydion) and the beautiful Princess Rosella, lead character of King's Quest IV and one of the first female protagonist in a computer game. Being a brave, stalwart, amiable and all-around magnanimous fellow--and having been stricken with a heart attack at the beginning of King's Quest IV--Graham was only too willing to sit back and allow his children to continue mesmerizing gamers. Most would agree that his rest was well-earned.
