I uninstalled Yakuza 0 on Steam and installed it on GOG as soon as I could. I wanted to copy my Steam saves over to the DRM free version, but I cannot find the path where the GOG game stores the save files. It isn't in %appdata% or Documents. I started a new game, saved it, and I still can't find them. Anyone figure out where they go?
Save Y0 at first save point, then go to
\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\Applications

In there find Y0 folder (bunch of numbers) and then go to Storage\Shared\Files

If save files are similar then just replace them.
That worked, thank you! I guess I didn't look deep enough in the Appdata folder.

However my saves from KIWAMI are differently named and if i rename my saves to the title format of the GOG version the game detects it as "Slot 2" but whenever ya try to access it it returns ya to the main menu

The directory name in \AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\Applications has the same name like the client_id value in the GalaxyConfig.json file from the installation directory.
For future reference, a good strategy for finding saved games is to first save a game, then browse to a folder you suspect it's stored under, like APPDATA. Then search for all files (either leave the search field blank or enter "*" without the quotes). Make sure the view is in "details" mode so you have the column headings for things like filename and "Date modified", and sort by Date Modified. Your new saved game is probably at the top or bottom of the list and you can open the folder it's in from there.

You may need to enable an option for showing hidden folders to even get to the APPDATA folder and search it.

What the heck is that path supposed to be referring to? It's missing the first part!

Therefore, that information is incomplete and has no use.

I have the same question as the OP does, but I do not feel that it is has been sufficiently answered thus far in this thread, and nor anywhere else on the internet either.

What is the exact, full path of the save game files for the GOG versions of the Yakuza games?

Yakuza 0:
C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\Applications\55966314534907843\Storage\Shared\Files
The long number you can find in goggame-1103602225.info in your game directory as "clientId".
Thanks for the information, mihuk. That post is very useful to me and I'm sure that in the future it will likewise by useful to others who find it via a google search when they also run into the problem of not knowing where to find their GOG version Yakuza saved games.
You may use "Environment variable" to browse the explorer easily

%LocalAppData%\GOG.com\Galaxy\Applications
