I've tried it here and get the same problem. Did find a German version on the net, but it's not cracked (and don't have the codewords gor the german one), but using the two "new" files (Meaning the cracked ones) I get the same result as the GOG version.
My theory is that the GOG crack might be tripping some sort of DRM. But we'll have to wait till Monday for a blue text to answer.
Please download the Universal update for Wizardry 6 + 7. This will fix all the problems related to the copy protection. Thank you :D.
