Where can I find a description of the dlc?

Such as Mysterious Merchant, etc

I'd like to know just what dlc I got, but can't seem to find anything helpful.

If you want to know which ones are installed go to The Witcher 2/CookedPC ... all dlc is notated by .dlc extension, ie, roche_jacket.dlc, magical_suit.dlc etc etc.
