Kailos: I saw that there are two patches on the Witcher website. Te first patch updates the game from 1.6.0 to 1.6.1 and the other patch updates the game from 1.6.1 to 1.6.2. The version of the game I have imstalled from GOG is version 1.0.0.3.

Every time I try to run either patch, the updates are unsuccessful. The first patch gets to 53% then says error. The second patch won't work at all because it says the wrong version is installed. Are there patches I am missing to patch the game from 1.0.0.3 up to 1.6 or are there other methods to patch the game?

I am aware of the fact that these patches are performance patches, which this game desperately needs. I can run games like Batman Arkham Asylum on mostly high settings at 1280x720. I can barely maintain 20fps in the Witcher regardless of the settings. Please help me.
Hi,

The 1.0.0.3 version number you see in your downloads page for The Witcher is the version number of the .dmg file, not of the actual game itself. Our version is the latest one, which is 1.62 and that is the reason you were having problems using the patches or you were getting wrong version errors when attempting to apply the patches from The Witcher's official site.

About the performance issues, please write to our Support department and make sure to include all the necessary hardware information. Thanks :D.
