Tiffo: Does the game have a "check for updates" button that allows you to get updates from online and have them installed in a very straightforward fashion without Galaxy?
Hey! I'm not sure if I understood your question correctly so please let me know if I'm wrong.

If you downloaded the game straight from the website without using GOG Galaxy, you downloaded game files only which don't support auto-updating or online features. In that case you will have to update your game manually; when a patch is out, it will be available to download under "OFFLINE BACKUP GAME INSTALLERS" on the website and the game itself will be displayed in "UPDATED" section in your library (see screenshot).
