Starflight 1 was the first computer game I ever played. I fell in love with it! It's got a wonderful story and well, so what if the graphics are not "good". They were in 1987. :P
Anyway.
The first link is to the starflight walkthrough at the Starflight Resource pages -- it's got an amazing amount of data that is useful. Be careful, though, it's easy to get spoiled on the plot of the game:

I mention it, because the first page is very good for helping new people to the game get a grip on how to generallly go about starting the game.
The other link is also from the Starflight Resource, and it's the 64 bit version of the codewheel. :) It makes leaving the spaceport so much easier:
