¿What is the difference between "Original" VS "Arrange" Mode?.
This question / problem has been solved by MarkAltairimage
After some research it appears that arranged mode is almost like a "very easy" mode. It gives you multiple weapons that have infinite ammo. Not what I was expecting to read as I have always assumed that arranged mode meant that the items in the game were moved to random areas.
"Arrange Mode" is the rookie mode. a very easy mode.

enables the player to start the main story with the S. Machine Gun in the inventory and the Gatling Gun and R. Launcher in the item box.
All three weapons have unlimited ammo.

it was available on the pc versions, dual shock ps1 versions (ofc only in us e japan, as EU didn't have a dual shock release), gamecube and dreamcast versions.

very lame mode, if you ask me.
Thanks, to both of you, I wasn't able to select both as the answer; I'm sorry. But i appreciate your time to post.

PC is based on the japanese PS1 Dual Shock Version, so it includes both the USA difficulty (Original Mode, 2 ink ribbons, more zombies, etc) and the japanese difficulty mode (Arrange Mode, 3 ink ribbons, less zombies, etc). Both modes can be played on Normal, Easy (or Rookie as it was known internationally) and the new Hard difficulty available in this port.

The arrange mode in this version only gives you infinite ammo if you play on easy.

Does it tone down the battles as well? I don't have the reaction time I used to when I was younger (much younger) and wave after wave of enemies is untenable for me.
Word of warning! In the Japanese version of the game it's reversed. Original mode is "rookie mode" when Arrange is harder one!
