Keep in mind I am not an expert on Build engine games, just played them back in the day :D

I am 90% certain you can't disable auto-aim in the game due to the fact that the engine is not a full 3D engine and lacked on-the-fly mouselook like the FPS games of today. The auto-aim was made to compensate for that.
