So my save game slots do not load for me - i.e. i go to options, try to load either slot but nothing happens. When i restart the game it just give me a fresh start. Anyone having the same issue?

C:\Users\BORKBORK\AppData\Roaming\HelloGames\NMS\DefaultUser

If there's nothing there your saves were corrupted or deleted could also be a bug.

Yeah, I've checked the folder and there are files in there, and I can see the two saves in game but cannot load either unfortunately.

Don't feel like restarting after spending 10+ hours grinding, so hopefully this is just a bug and there's still a chance that the saves are not completely lost

Try loading the game from the nms folder and bypass gog.
