This is the second time my Save basically got wrecked by this bug. The random event with a Vy'keen NPC which will show you a drawing of an oversized exocraft occurred, and ever since then has repeated for EVERY SINGLE Vy'keen NPC. (I've switched systems several times, also, the dialogue appears on all Vy'keen in a station, which I simply cannot attribute to an RNG fluke).

Has anybody experienced something similar and can either recall what triggers this or how to get rid of it? It's annoying like hell, as it blocks out all the other Vy'keen events, in particular those that offer multi-tools, so I'm not a happer camper here.

Now since you're mentioning this ... I might be affected, too. I'll keep an eye out when going to play in a few mins.

Not only did I notice that with the Vy'keen but also Gek - my Geks now always ask me about the "dark fluid" - coffee I guess :-). Since I'm a long-time gamer from 1.00 it doesn't hamper me that much but certainly removes depth and variance from the game. Something was a bit off the last two days or so but pursuing the storyline I didn't fully realize. Now you've given me an epiphanic moment ;-)

Maybe you should report that as a bug on their homepage/bug tracking system? Or best we both did ...

Thanks for confirming it. It's been driving me batty, since I found no other reference on the web.

And yeah, my old "corrupted" save had the gek coffee event looping as well. I've reported the bug with the Vy'keen element already and attached the corrupted save, I hope they'll get around to fix it.

Thanks, at least now I know that it isn't just me.

Great, no problem you're welcome :-)

I've now done the same and submitted a bug report plus saves archive.

Going back saves horrifies me and is out of the question, being playing too much and doing too many things :D

I've faith in HG, after all the badmouthing and critique they are still working on it when they could have abandoned it. That spirit I like.
