how do i gain levels as in charecter levels???

You gain experience by killing monsters/doing quests, and then you go to training halls to actually level up (once you have enough XP).

where is the trainer at???

In all towns there is one. In Dagger Wound for example he is at the south eastern end, just south east of the Leader's hall. Building is called Rites of Passage.

Sorry I haven't played the game, so can't tell you about the location in other towns, but check the other maps on the link I gave you.

Training halls have a sign out front with what looks like a picture of a bullseye on it. Very small towns might not have a center, but most major settlements do. Be aware that some training halls have a level cap; for example, I think the one in Dageer wound can only train you up to level 5. At least one of them, I don't remember which (shadowspire?), has no level cap.

can any 1 tell me where to find power stones

As you explore the main Village, you get the quest to get to the outside world to tell them that the Blood Islands have experienced the volcanic action and siege. You get one power stone with the quest. The second is in the hands of the local cleric, Frederick Talimere. (not sure of spelling). You get the second when you accept him in your party. Then you need to get through the Old or Abandoned Temple to get to the transporter that is near the ship to the outside world (Ravernswood?) I haven't played it in a while so I may have the names wrong.
