So I have the cd and have been trying to install using the compatibility with xp service pack 3 / run as administrator fix. When I try to start the game this window pops up telling me it could find the ordinal 1 link in program files x86. Does anyone know what this might mean? Also, if I download the game directly from this site rather than try to use the cd, will this nightmare go away and I can just play again? Thank you!

Sorry to say don't know what that error your getting is as I have not heard of it before.

I do know I have XP SP3 and I bought the game from here and it works fine no real problems. Well after a while the music can start skipping but a closing and opening the game can solved that if I actually listened to it instead of other music.

Uninstall the game and install it somewhere besides Program Files, eg C:\Games\.

Also, the GOG version does work. Wait is this MoO 3? Buy MoO 1+2. They are both superior games.

Yikes never thought to ask but if it IS Moo3 toss it out never ever ever buy it unless someone pays you to play it.

6 months after it came out I found a BRAND New disk copy of it at EB Games for only $10 bucks Canadian. I was my money back so badly. Well at least I got a coaster out of it lol.
