Griffin2015: When i try to download the Mac version of the new DLC races or the updated retro fleets and Terrans I get a 404 Forbidden message.

Griffin2015: Still no response from support. Wondering why...........
We were investigating the issue :)

IN any case, you should have no trouble downloading any of the offline installers now, sorry for the hassle :)

danielomat: Can I chip in here - I can neither download the DLC on my Mac through the galaxy client nor directly from the website. On my Windows box it works without any flaw. Am I missing something?
Please refresh your account and try again. On a phone atm so add "/refresh" (without " ") to the link you get when you click on Account in the top bar of the site.

danielomat: Wow, thanks for your effort, mate! I greatly appreciate this.
Unfortunately, the refresh didn't do the trick. When I try to download the DLC in my browser I get a new page saying "403 - Forbidden".
And I tried right-clicking and saving the files which results in .pkg files that don't install (right-click "open"), and I also reinstalled from GalaxyClient, but to no avail.
Hi again :)

I thought the issue was fixed but apparently it needs further looking into. We'll be looking into it in the morning, sorry for the hassle...again...

Griffin2015: Fixed! Thanks so much for looking into the issue. All is well now!

(on a quick side note, i was disappointed at how dismissive and unresponsive the support people were when i submitted an official ticket concerning the issue. probably will not waste my time in the future by going that route if i encounter other issues. My impression was that their biggest concern was getting that ticket closed out regardless of weather or not the issue existed. water under the bridge i guess......i am happy now!)

danielomat: How were you able to access the DLC? I tried "Verify / Repair" from within the Galaxy client, and after that didn't help I uninstalled and re-installed Master of Orion again, but in vain. I still can't pick any of the new races...
Hi,

If you are using Galaxy, you may need to click on the "More" button, then select "Settings" and scroll down a bit. You should see the names of the individual races and some check boxes. Make sure you have the check boxes filled like this screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/WGTsnPK.png

danielomat: Hi there,

Thanks again for all the effort you have put into this. However, I couldn't get the Galaxy client to install DLC in OSX although it's fine in Windows. Anyway, I managed to download the files and install them manually, which eventually did the trick.
Happy new year and thank you very much.
Could you tell me what happened when you tried to install the DLC for Master of Orion via Galaxy?
