I am running Windows7 64 bit, this game was my favorite in the day. I cannot load game only but once then if I exit it it will not load anymore without reinstalling it ,which is retarded. Also I hate mouse/keyboard, can't get my xbox360 pad to function at all, HOW for the LOVE of this GAME can I play it without the single barrel shotgun exception and use my controller? Really? I paid money for this please don't tell me that I don't have the option of frequently loading it and playing with compatability.

Regarding the controller, you could make a profile for it so it maps to keyboard and mouse controls. My 3rd-party pad comes with its own programming software, but if you don't have any you can try a free program like Joy2Key (might techincally be shareware?) or Xpadder. I've used Joy2Key before, it's great for mapping buttons to keyboard keys but I'm not sure how great it is for mapping analog sticks to mouse axes. You'll have to try it yourself to see.

You actually can play the game with a controller, just change the controls in the options. I made a working profile for my Xbox 360 controller. You just need to figure out which button in the game's controls is which on the Xbox controller (Button 1 = A button, for example) and the triggers will respond if you script accelerate and brake to gas and brake peddles.
