Did anyone encounter this problem? HOMM3 installs and runs fine, except that I can't skip the intro movie - every time I start the game, I must endure the whole movie before I can play. I thought perhaps a firewall is blocking the game from polling keyboard, but that is not the case - I get the same behavior on a completely different computer with no firewall installed. The older versions of the game (with copy protection - that's why I bought GOG version) are able to skip intro easily.

HurricaneBomber: I need help on trying to skip the Intro of Heroes of Might and Magic 3. I followed people's suggestion on going to the regedit and changing the value from 1 to 0. It works but sometimes when I play the game it goes back to playing the intro like if the value was 1 again. I looked back in regedit and it still says 0. If I go and let it play through the whole intro thing, it won't play it again for a couple of days. Some days later it will randomly play the intro again.

ps Also when I do get on the game it resets my settings in there for some odd reason.
It sounds like you're running the game sometimes as admin and sometimes as normal user.
