dylanmc: Folks on Windows with this problem are being told to install various Microsoft libraries, but I don't know how to do that with the Windows wrapper on MacOS X. I couldn't find an FAQ about that.

dylanmc: After an iteration with support, it turned out that Galaxy didn't keep Hacknet up to date (even though autoupdates were enabled). Support asked me to uninstall / reinstall, and it works great now.
Good to hear, sorry about the hassle though :/
