Why does this program just not get it right? Has an automatic update of GOG Galaxy ever worked for you?
The only solution is to reinstall the program with a new downloaded installer...

I don't want to reinstall everything for each update : I don't want to reconfigure everything and find my installed games everytime.

Any real update solution ?

Unfortunately for me, even new download of the installer fails. I just can not update my BG3 files to the current version. It is so frustrating.

GOG. Seriously! Fix your app!

At least can we deactivate the galaxy update notification ? I didn't find anything in the parameters...

I'm tired to click on later everytime I look at the interface...

Always, except when they introduced an autoupdate bug that they addressed in a later version.

Open a support ticket. Zip up the C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\logs folder and attach it to your ticket.
