Hi all,

When you unlock an achievement in a Steam game, an overlay notification usually pops up in the bottom right corner. And it would be awesome if this would happen as well when I play "Dishonored 2" off the excellent GOG Galaxy client. Sadly, I only learn about having unlocked an achievement after the fact on the game page.

Overlay as a game feature is enabled. Are there no such notifications for that particular game, or is there a way to get it working?

OK, I see. I didn't realize that you can usually look it up on the respective game page. Sorry for the late reply, but apparently, I have to activate e-mail notifications somewhere. How and where can I do this?

This forum doesn't have e-mail notifications. Feel free to vote for Email Notification For Forum Posts in the community wishlist.

My Settings at the top of this post but below the main menu has all the forum-specific settings you can tweak.

Hi, hope you guys can see this. I imagine that at this point it's not needed for Dishonored 2, but I hope it can help you with future games on GOG. You can activate the overlay even if the game "don't support it" as show on the store page. Another user responded to a similar question like this:

This answer worked for me and I can now see the overlay in game and see achievements pop up. My config.json file looked like this after the changes:

So just add a coma after the "0", enter, add ""forceEnableOverlay": true" like show above and it should work.
