I remember, back in the early 90s (or possibly '89) getting a disc from PC Gamer with a demo on it. I was never able to find the game, and I'd love to look it up now, if only I could remember what it is! :)
Here's what I think I remember (being older, I'm never quite sure):
It used full motion video, and would have been one of the first games to do so.
It was definitely under the radar and, as far as I know, wasn't a huge seller.
It features some kind of tie to greek mythology.
It felt (to me) kind of like I was playing in the role of Perseus from the first (coughcough*real*coughcough) Clash of the Titans film. It wasn't Clash, but it felt that way to me.
There was a scene where I was on a river (Styx?) and I had to get between a closed cavern in front of me.
That's about it. Can anyone please help me sleep better tonight (without the aid of medication)?
And just because I'm feeling semi-generous (and this is not a bribe in any way, of course:) the first person to make me go "NELLY FURTADO, THAT'S IT!" (because her name makes a GREAT curse word. Seriously. Say it out loud. DO IT! Cool, huh?) will win themselves a $5.99 GoG game of their choice (and my eternal gratitude. At least, until I forget it again.).
