i'm a newbie in this site, but i remember that last year we had a Spring conference (Fallout for Free! Yeeeeeeeah).
This year we didn't get a Winter nor a Spring Conference. The Winter one could easily be forgotten with all the fuss (you know, the promo month and all that), but DON'T YOU EVEN THINK, WE FORGOT ABOUT THE SPRING ONE.

So what's going on? We won't get any more TET love?
E3 is nigh: http://www.gog.com/forum/general/gog_conference_incoming

As for TET love, you'll have to ask him. ;)

I can't recall having a winter one on 2011 or 2012. We did have a spring and fall conference, and an E3 announcement as well. Both conferences were actually CD Projekt Red conferences where GOG announced a few things as well. This Spring there was a CD Projekt Red conference, but GOG didn't have anything "spectacular" to announce, thus skipped it.
Waiting for E3 and Fall conference for now.

Not much obviously and that's why they are skipping them.

But if you watch the conferences from two to three years before you see a lot of enthusiam, talking about curves that go steep upwards or about their new games, but also many announcements which were a bit bigger than what followed. I could imagine that both (the enthusiasm and the lack of professionalism) goes away the longer you stay in business.
I can't imagine why there hasn't been one lately. I still have such fond memories of the last one. :D

ps. Maybe they shouldn't have had it in Vancouver? :P

Thanks for the answers. I didn't know there was an E3 presentation from GOG.

Wait...Time to check out the new game!
If they have nothing worth of announcing, they don't make conferences, simple as that. But they should show something on E3.
We're in between interesting things to announce. We will probably do something conference-ish this year, but precisely when is something about which I am unsure.

After one of the Stanly Cup final losses. They've rioted after all three but it obviously isn't the one from the early 80s when they lost to the Islanders. I'm guessing Boston because it's also too recent to have been the Rangers series.

EDIT: Yeah I just googled it. It was 2011 when they lost to the Bruins.

Oh, the riot. Yeah I definitely remember that. Sorry, I didn't really read the thread and thought you were talking about a GOG conference.

Not that that would be a bad thing......

XD Yeah I wanted to make a joke about the conference so I googled 'funny riot' for a good pic and that was one of the first things that came up. I guess it could be considered funny because no one was hurt and contrary to some dubious reports Vancouver WASN'T actually destroyed.
