Mine's fairly uncommon too, hell 10 characters, who can be bothered typing something that long these days? It's handy for keeping a consistent online identity though, if you see an Aliasalpha anyhere on the net being an arrogant but amusing bastard then there's a bloody good chance its me.
I have had at least once instance where my username was already taken, typically it turned out that it had been previously taken by ME and I'd just forgotten the existance of a site I was trying to use it on
