Believe me, playing it alone in the night doesn't help.
Even though I'm no fan of 'creepiness' (Return to Cathedral, anyone?), I can only wish for Thief 4 missions to have such masterfully designed levels.
But reminiscing the best moments of gameplay is better saved for a proper Thief series sub-forum... as soon as the game(s) will be available at GOG. And I firmly believe that this day will come. :)

I don't know if 'excitement' is a good word here. A 'dread foreboding' seems more appropriate.
But maybe I'm too much of a pessimist :)

I'm usually pessimistic, but for some reason I have a good feeling about this. Of course, I doubt we will see anything concrete tommorow, I'd be amazed if they released anything more than a concept. I would expect them to give a slow drip of info, a bit like Blizzard for Diablo 3.

Thief isn't the only series they'll probably fuck up. I mean they're also making hitman 5, tomb raider 11 and possibly even donkey punch 22

I am very angry with game developers going the way of Hollywood.. rehashing old crap to cash in on nostalgia.
