Maybe we're looking for Captain Robert Morgan? Or is it the pirate Henry Morgan or the Orca Morgan which is supposed to get free.

Seeing as how season 1 final puzzle lasted a week and we're entering week 3 for season 2, your plan to stop a stalemate might have backfired a little.

I read a book years ago by Colleen McCullough called Morgan's Run. It's the story of an Englishman named Richard Morgan, who is sent as a prisoner to the penal colony at Norfolk Island (once part of Australia). The man really existed, and the book is well-researched, even if it is a fictional account.
I couldn't make this particular Morgan fit, but perhaps someone else will find it useful.

The following will hopefully seal the deal:
You found "Captain" (which I confirmed was correct) and most people agreed (correctly) that "Morgan" is worth following up.
The two last puzzles then too must have an element that will lead to the answer.
The unsolved puzzles are linked.
The Connect the Dots puzzle was originally called " " Marks the Spot. Since the puzzle asked you to connect a clue to a dot I settled for the former. The latter title however refers to the secret element.
I'll also offer a thought process worth considering:
Clearly there is something to do with pirates. Pirates use maps to find treasure. The marks on the map of Australia don't make an "X" though! What marks the spot?
I've edited this post many times, remembering things I wanted to mention.

Doesn't help me immediately, I'm afraid :D!
Some more thoughts on the map puzzle:
How can we mark a location on a map, without using an "X"?
An arrow? I can get many arrows using some of the points, but none using all of the points
A circle? No, doesn't fit the points
A triangle? No, doesn't fit the points
A finger? Not enough points to draw something this detailed.
What would a pirate use to mark a map, if not an "X"?
A sword? Doesn't fit the points
An anchor? Doesn't fit the points
A pistol? Too detailed
I tried looking again at "Crack the Code" / SPECTRE to see if it will give me any more hints, but still stumped here.

I'm going to give the biggest clue of MPCS2 sometime tomorrow.
Since I'm in a great mood and I've got everybody stumped (these two are probably linked) it'll be a clue in the form of a giveaway (the title of course!).
