At least the PS+ subscription gives you far more than just access to online gaming. I guess you can't have it all.

Like 2 free games per month, that you keep after your subscription expired? Or did I miss something?
Will have to find the time to watch Sony's presentation later today.

From what I can see, they pretty much give you the same things.

Yeah, Sony went to charging and Microsoft started giving old games for free. Now they're identical.

Sony is charging $100 less for the console though, and won't have any DRM for those who care (probably a small minority, but the gaming media seem interested in changing that despite never caring on PC, for whatever reason).

I don't think the winner is an easy toss-up yet, a lot of people are going to think keeping their friends and achievements and getting Halo are worth the extra $100. A loooooot of people. We shall see.

All I know as a PC guy is that all the games that looked good to me are coming to PC, with the possible exception of Dead Rising 3 which, whatever, I can live without that. Never played the original, never completed the second one. Whatever.
Sony's lack of second-hand solution was surprising. I give them that. It was also the most vibrant presentation. The first half was bursting with games and without no blank spots.

On the other side, a majority of their calatogue seems to be PS3 games which are supposed to be bought again (at least that's my impression based on news) and any new game I had to have was shown.
My watch-out-for list:
The Order might be fun but no gameplay was introduced.
The Dark Sorcerer, well, it's Quantic Dreams. Nothing concrete.
Transistor's audio component was impressive.
+ anything from Naughty Dog

PS4 got my attention. I will check their collection in few years to see if it's worth of second-hand purchase. And I'm pleased that no exclusive game was jaw-dropping and the most of promising ones are going to be released on all main platforms.

Fictionvision: Microsoft giving out free games for gold starting next month has me considering a 3 month card if I find a deal on one.
Actually the Games with Gold program started this month with Fable III (available until June 30).

Cameron: I think the current tally is Xbox One has 21 exclusives announced, PS4 has something like 10. Furthermore, I think almost all over the PS4 exclusives are being developed by their internal studios, not a bad thing at all, but not really an advantage (those were guaranteed to be exclusive anyways). Where Xbox One is dominating is in third-party exclusives.

Garugo: They said they have, out of 140 titles currently being made for the PS4, 40 exclusive titles in the works for the PS4's launch year.
No he said "with exclusive content"

Dark Sorcerer was mentioned as being a 12 minute interactive tech demo...

Uhm... I guess the description fits. It doesn't give the slightest idea what the plot will be about, how it will be played, what characters are included, etc. It would say "a tech teaser" is better description.

EDIT: It was over 3 minutes long, to be precise. See for yourself.

Is the E3 Expo website the best place to stream the expo from or is there another website that has a better stream?

I'm watching E3 Expo stream, which is handled by Gamespot, and I haven't have any serious lags. I'm not sure if there is something better.

Ah, gotcha. Something like Kara. I missed the mention. Thanks.
In that case PS4 has two concrete games I might consider trying.
Well, Nintendo direct happens at exactly midnight here :(
That sucks major un-mentionables, oh well

RayRay13000: Sony, I'm wanting this question to be answered: Is this console going to be region free?
